Fertilization programs

Based on soil and foliar analyzes, fertilization programs are developed for the main crops in the Central American area. Careful soil studies and interpretation of results allow us to suggest specialized formulas to clients to obtain optimal yields. It also includes specific recommendations for foliar fertilization.

Soil analysis

Through the Quality Laboratories of our Industrial Garden in Puntarenas (Costa Rica) and Acajutla (El Salvador), and with the plasma atomic emission spectrophotometer equipment from Agilent Technologies, Grupo Fertica provides a soil analysis service to its clients . Basic and specialized analyzes are carried out as a tool to technify the fertilization of crops, complementing the personalized advice of our technical sales team.

Quality Lab

We put our region's farmers at the service of advancing quality laboratory. Contact our laboratory analysts by email analistas@fertica.com

The first step of our production processes consists of subjecting the raw materials to rigorous tests in the Quality Control Laboratory, to guarantee our clients that all Grupo Fertica products meet the specific standards for the different needs of plant nutrition.

Our quality control laboratories are certified by world-renowned institutions to perform formulation, compaction, packaging, pH, and particle size analysis.

A modern Agilent 4200 MP-AES Atomic Emission Spectroscopy with Microwave Oven was added to the laboratory's daily work tools. Among the advantages of this equipment we can point out that it allows to determine the nutrients available in the soil in a single multi-element analysis, it can determine the macronutrients (required in large quantities due to their structural functions in the plant) and micronutrients (required in smaller quantities as they tend to be involved in regulatory functions in the plant).
